Prilled Palm Bunch Ash

The Guano Company’s Prilled Palm Bunch Ash (0-0-20) is an all natural fast acting organic source of potash. Potassium (K) also known as Potash, is necessary for the plants overall health by enabling the various plant processes such as photosynthesis, water movement (stomatic function) and enzyme activity. Sweetness measured by the sugars is dependent upon K. Potassium helps increase stalk strength and strong buds. Sweetness, as measured by sugar contents, is dependent on potassium. Potassium also helps to increase stalk strength. Palm Bunch Ash produces high levels of potash – amongst the highest of all plant sources!

Application
Apply one to two lb. per 100 sq. ft. and work into the soil. As a top dressing apply 1 Tbsp. per vegetable plant, place around the base of the plant, 5″ from the stalk. Ashes work best in acidic soil.  This is due to the fact that Palm Bunch Ash has a very high pH of 12. In all soil conditions monitor the pH and adjust as necessary.
Note: Avoid inhalation, ingestion, and eye contact with the dust. Use of respiratory and eye protection is recommended.
