Light Emitting Ceramics

As the name suggests, light emitting ceramic technology uses ceramic arc tubes instead of quartz like traditional metal halide lamps. Ceramic arc tubes allow higher arc tube temperatures, which results in better performance and more desirable spectral output. Other benefits include the fact that light emitting ceramics run cooler than traditional high intensity discharge lamps, and that the frequency of lamp replacement is greatly reduced.
